Prayer for January 28th
Ask God to help you see where you can develop new relationships.
For many of us today is a day off, a day of leisure to spend however we wish. As you start your day today ask God to help you spend your time developing new relationships, and ask God to help you see where those relationships can be developed. Pray that God will open your eyes to opportunities to connect with others.
Prayer for January 27th
Pray that God will help you see how He is active in your life.
As we pray over our relationships the most important one may be forgotten among the concerns of day to day life but our relationships with God should not be forgotten. Pray that God will help you see your relationship with Him more fully, that God will help you to see when and how he is active in your life. Pray that you will know God more deeply as He is more and more a part of your life.
Prayer for January 26th
Ask God to show you places where you can share the Good News.
As you go through your day ask God to show you openings in your relationships to share the Good News of what God has been doing in your life. God can work through the movements of our days, through what may otherwise seem like meaningless conversations or insignificant interactions. Ask God to work through you in the little moments.
Prayer for January 25th
Meditate on the most meaningful relationships you have had.
Think about and pray about the most meaningful relationships of your life. What made them so meaningful? Was it that you were exactly like the other person? Did you just get along well? Did they do something for you? Did they challenge you? Did they show you love and support? Was it something else which you can name or was it something beyond description?
Prayer for January 24th
Share something God has done in your life with someone you are close to.
Think back on the past several days, weeks, months or years and think about some time in which you felt God’s presence in your life. Think about how you felt God’s presence, what God did and how you responded to it. Find someone that you are close with and share this. By sharing with someone we are close with we can practice sharing with those we may not be as close with.
